Fire Station 8

Vigil & Associates is proud to partner with the City of Rio Rancho in the design and construction of the new Fire Station 8, a 15,071 sf facility to be located at the southeast corner of Veranda Road and Cabezon Boulevard.

This new station will reflect the latest advancements in fire station planning and design, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and comfort for the firefighters who serve the community. The building will feature modern living quarters with 10 bunk rooms and two officer suites, a fully equipped kitchen and day room, and both indoor and outdoor fitness areas designed to support firefighter wellness.

Operationally, the facility will include four apparatus bays to accommodate emergency response vehicles and one limited-access community room that provides a welcoming space for public engagement and outreach. Site development will include public parking to support community use as well as secured staff parking areas to ensure safety and operational integrity.
