Santa Fe High School Administration Building

Vigil & Associates was engaged by Santa Fe Public Schools to develop a comprehensive Master Plan for Santa Fe High School. Following completion of the plan and prioritization of key initiatives, the first major project was the replacement of the existing Administration/Student Services building.

The newly constructed Administration Building features a secure campus entry and reception area, teacher/staff workroom and lounge, a full health suite, the Dean of Students’ office, an in-school suspension classroom, and dedicated space for Student Government. Designed to seamlessly integrate with the existing campus, the building incorporates modern forms and materials that present a refreshed, iconic image for the school while supporting intuitive wayfinding.

Strategic placement of administrative and security functions allows for clear visibility and supervision of visitors and student arrival zones. During construction, a significant programmatic change was requested by the district. Vigil & Associates remained in close daily coordination with the CMAR, enabling the team to adapt in real time. This collaborative and responsive approach ensured the project continued without delay—a true testament to the success of an integrated project delivery model.
