My Little School Addition & Renovation

The My Little School Addition & Renovation project transformed the existing pre-kindergarten campus to better serve students, staff, and the growing needs of the community. The project included extensive renovations to the existing facility, strategic site improvements, and the construction of new educational and support spaces.

Renovations modernized the administrative offices and existing classrooms, while a new entry vestibule enhanced campus access and security. A new multipurpose building was added, featuring a warming kitchen, restrooms, storage, mechanical and electrical rooms, and flexible support spaces. The project also included a new pre-kindergarten classroom addition with an attached restroom, expanding the school's instructional capacity.

Site improvements included demolition of an existing residence and outdated restroom facilities, relocation of a portable classroom, new earthwork, grading and drainage, landscaping, campus fencing, and a new service parking area with a dumpster enclosure. Life safety upgrades included installation of a campus-wide fire sprinkler system serving both existing and new buildings, as well as a new fire hydrant.

The completed project provides Deming Public Schools with a modernized early childhood education campus designed to support learning in a safe, functional, and welcoming environment.
