Coach Archie Duran Elementary School

This elementary school project consolidated three elementary schools for EPISD. Dowell Elementary School, Crosby Elementary School and Schuster Elementary School were combined into a single new elementary school on the Dowell campus. The total campus area is on approximately 8.6 acres and will house 900 students from Pre-K to 5th Grade. Despite its size, the school is designed as a neighborhood school. It is surrounded by landscaping and has a welcoming entry plaza. The multipurpose center and playgrounds will be available for use by the entire community. The programming and design of this the new state of the art facility was carefully vetted through numerous meetings with the selected Design Committee, EPISD Administrators (including Maintenance Admin.) and local community neighborhood meetings.
