Valencia Campus Improvements

Vigil & Associates provided full architectural services for the UNM Valencia Campus improvement project resulting in a modern, energetic and relevant building solution. This CMAR project came in $550,000 under budget, had no change orders and was delivered on time and with great reception.

The project included the successful creation of new gateway plaza, a defined campus entry and new monument sign, and landscaping for the southwest campus entrance. It also included the renovation of the main lecture hall with seating that rotates allowing students to form small groups and converting the lecture hall into a collaborative learning space. Further improvements included the renovation of the student union building (SUB) and the construction of a new outdoor student gathering area.
