Carrie Tingley Children’s Hospital was operating out of a mid-century facility. This project was initiated due to advancements in imaging technology, including the first installation of an EOS Imaging System in the State of New Mexico. The system allows for imaging in functional, standing position to better visualize the mechanisms between the spine, hip, and knee, enhancing patient treatment across all stages of care. Architectural services included analysis of existing conditions, evaluation of existing room layouts and user’s needs, space planning for efficiency of use and functional success, code analysis and bringing space up to code.
