A 2008 library expansion at Colinas del Norte Elementary included renovation of the 2,450-square-foot library and addition of 1900 square feet of new space. The new library contains a research office, tutoring office, computer lab with 25 computer stations, a story corner and a librarian's office.

Vigil & Associates has also designed a new Black Box Theater for Rio Rancho High School. The 4,000-square-foot facility will provide a flexible performance space, as well as dressing rooms and a green room that can be utilized by both the new theater and the high school's main stage.
